Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Polishing metal products to a mirror finish.
• Grinding and buffing seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
• Operating metal cleaning equipment.
• Removing excess welds, rust, and scale from metal surfaces.
• Cleaning, filing, and finishing metal products.
• Assisting sheet metal workers and metal machine operators.
• Sorting metal sheets, scrap metal, and manufactured parts.
• Transporting materials and equipment within the facility.
• Maintaining cleanliness of machines and work areas.
• Operating polishing machines and deburring equipment safely.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Registered Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of grinding, polishing, deburring, and metal finishing techniques.
• Experience using hand tools and polishing equipment.
